I'm assuming the big air pocket in between the plastic wrap is giving it oxygen bc when I open the incubator it fogs up

Here's how much it has changed since this morning.

My new egg at 3 days

Ok so my air sac is same size as my other eggs at 7 days and my temp in incubator has dropped down to 96 without me adjusting it

Thank you I will keep you posted temp is 101 in still air and humidity is 63% the air sac doesn't look as big as pic I've seen

I have 1 silkie egg left out of 15 eggs this is my first time incubating. I candled the egg last night and chick was moving and veins were a dark red then I candled a bit ago for lockdown and I don't see movement and veins are light and not as pronounced anymore. Did I lose my last egg?

Just an update the egg I currently have in there is doing good. Once it gets passed my first egg I will post pictures

It was dead and yes I will try again I currently have my second egg in there now. I don't know about the air exchange bc once I put holes in it is when it died so I'm redoing it and not worrying about the holes this time and you don't have to turn it bc it has no shell to stick too. Here's egg #2

Well I put a few holes in it and I think it died
