Here's my update. 15 of 15 eggs hatched. One was malpositioned, but hatched ok. One hatched out upside down and kept laying on his back...making me worry... overall SUPER HAPPY with the whole experience! ! Here's my granddaughter with one of the chicks!

Here's one of or chicks. So far out of 15 eggs all have pipped and 9 have hatched! I was a little worried about the last 2 because they both hatched out upside down and then just kinda layed there for a while. Just tired I guess. They seem like they're doing better now!

Im on pins and needles... none of mine have pipped yet!!!

We put ours into lockdown early this morning..... :)

I think it's going well. I haven't candled yet. The weather has been alternately dry and then rainy so the humidity was first too low (Brinsea recommends 40-50%) then too high. Hopefully the lower humidity for a couple of days won't cause any issues. We have to keep adjusting... there are two...

We put eggs in on the 4th so I haven't candle any yet. Thanks for everyone's input. I'm just worried I won't know what I'm looking at!

Can anyone point me to candling how to or step by steps? Or first time hatching eggs and I'm not sure what I'm looking at....

We set 16 yesterday the 4th. They are just barnyard mix. We got a new advance 20 so we want to work out the bugs before buying any fancy eggs or anything expensive.! Excited for our first hatch!
