    This is a Whiting True Blue. Never raised them before. I would have sworn Pullet. But look a "shim" now. No pronounced waddle or comb but the tail looks rooster-ish. Appreciate your thoughts. [/IMG][/IMG]

    I have 38 meaties going. They were bought in 3 batches from 2 different tractor supplies. Here's the thing. There are about 8(about the size of my third buy) that are not growing anywhere near the rate of the others. When and how can I tell if these are meaties?

    Feeding Broilers Organic starter then finisher

    Can I keep meat birds on organic starter(since it has high protein) for the first 6 weeks then transfer them onto finisher? Finding organic feeds here in NJ for meaties is a Herculean task.
