i have 8 hens, i have only been getting 4 eggs a day? some days just three, i believe that the 3 black hens are not laying? and one hamburg,hen,not laying? i do not no much ,but are these black ones only meat birds that dont lay eggs? please help...

Hi, i bought 6 Chic's, suppose to b all hens, then 6 more, 3 black, 3 not none. oops. the firsts 6, i found out i have at-lest 2, roosters. then the other ones i found i have maybe 2 more? what am i to do??? to big reds, thought were rir?

Two of my chicks just made nesting holes in brooder? Is this something they do before laying eggs? I thought they had to be 17 -20 months?

Going to give it my best, We bought a mix of chicks, just 6 of them , i have had them for one week now,changing food and water twice a day. we are going to make them a brooder this weekend. ,they all seem fine now. I wonder what they will look like when they get big?here is a pic of them,1 week...
