I recently purchased three random assortments from Meyers hatchery since I love surprises. The only problem is I have no clue what some of my chickies are. Or if they're male of female. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I know its hard to see but I also don't know what the black...
So I recently purchased twenty two chicks from Meyers Hatchery. I've heard of people calling their post office the day before the birds are supposed to arrive and then going to pick them up from there. But I don't have a PO box, and I honestly don't know how the picking up of shipped birds...
I just order twenty two fluffies from Meyers and the wait is killing me :P Their supposed to arrive any where between the fifteenth and the seventeenth of April. Good thing I'm on spring break that week! So excited. I'll be sure to post some pictures of the little stinkers once they get here :3

I just heard of lavender colored birds and I'd love to see some pictures. Does anybody have pics of their lavender chickens? I would love to see them :)
So I candled this egg on day two yesterday and I noticed a small dark spot and when Id gently wiggle the egg the dark spot would move. Today I candled the egg again and the dark spot is even bigger. But I'm second guessing myself and I'm thinking the spot is actually just the yolk. Any opinions?
