That's what I was afraid of. It's kind of obvious but I thought maybe this breed might develop faster than the others. I don't really mind, I kinda wanted a rooster. Hubby and the neighbors won't be very happy though.- Chickychik

I have four, one month old chicks. A BO, a RIR, a SLW and a Australorp. I have read that Roos develope their combs earlier than hens and my Australorp comb has really started to develope all of a sudden. The other 3 chicks have smothe heads still. Does this look like a possible Roo?- Chickychik

How old do you think?
Thanks, some great information and it seems quite easy. How do you feed this? I usually leave food all the time so they can eat whenever. With wet food do you feed only once a day?- Chickychik
