Yeah - I'm on that one, too! Most of the Standards Rexes are up north. I was hoping to find someone closer. Standard Rex rabbits in Arkansas are as rare as hen's teeth! My breeding stock is all from somewhere else - Texas, Missouri, Michigan. I guess I should actually sell some of my extras...

Anyone here raise Standard Rex rabbits? I am looking for a new buck. Have new kits if someone is interested in some trading later. Their sire is an import from Michigan, so is not related to many of the "local" Standard Rexes.

Ah! Deviant Art is one of my absolute favorites! I get tons of PSP stuff there - brushes, backgrounds - you name it! It is also excellent for inspiration in those times when my create juices are sluggish!

Here in Van Buren (about 90 miles North of Mena) we just got wind, rain, thunder and lightening. No hail, thank goodness! Tornado sirens were going off all night long til about 8:30 pm - a funnel was reported to have been sighted at about 7:00 pm, but nothing came of it, I guess.

I'm getting chicks next week! I am so excited! I raised chickens before (Jersey Black Giants), but it was YEARS ago! These will be Mottled Cochin Bantams. I have all kinds of plans for them! I want to train one to sit on my shoulder like a parrot, and another to pretend it is a hunting hawk...
