I went camping over the weekend and came home today to our first egg!!! Our girls are approx 17 weeks old. Since being home this am we have gotten two more eggs! Yay!!

I just built the bucket feeder and only made one hole. I see some have multiple feeding holes. Should I cut one more or leave it. I have 8 chickens if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Well...now that my chicks are approx 5 weeks old, I think I have a cute little roo. Anyone agree or think he may be a she. If I do have a roo...I have no idea what I will end up doing with him.

My DH built the chickens an outdoor shelter in their run. We live on a hill and it gets a little breezy so this way they can get out of the weather.
