Try getting a flock block. This seems to provide nourishment as well as an outlet for their pecking instinct. Our hens all look much better since we've been putting flock blocks in the coop. We found ours at Tractor Supply.

I haven't hatched geese yet but from doing a search on "internal pip goose" it looks like it can take up to a couple of days from internal pip to being out. You may want to search the old threads and see what you can find. Hope s/he gets out okay! Good luck.
