Also concerned about this lady... What you can't see is her behind is pink and bare like the back.

No roosters in the flock..And it hasn't changed over the last few weeks...no better..no worse.

This hen has had this issue now for a while. We kept thinking it was because she was pecked on by the others but now we are worried that is more than that. We have about 20 chickens in a very adequate space and most all of the others seem fine except for another with a bare behind and a couple...

I will try to get better pics. I'm sure it's a mix or mutt of some kind. I couldn't begin to tell you the breed as we are such novices.

Our guesstimate is 5 months or less. We've had the chicken for 2 months now.

We were given this chicken about 2 months ago and told it was a hen. Now that she/he is much larger than the other hens now. . We are wondering if we may have a rooster. Sorry for repeating the age old question...newbies here

My husband brought these sweet chickens home but failed to ask what kind they are... We love them regardless but it would be nice to know when friends ask what breed they are. :/

My husband bought these chickens for me but failed to ask what breed they were :/:/ We love them just as they are and breed isn't a factor in keeping them.. But I do think when someone ask what kinds of chickens we have .. We should be able to say more than "not sure" :bow
