i had one that looked like that! She was a beautiful lavender color that i never figured out exactly what breed she was before these darn coons got her... Pulled her off the roost & right thru the fencing!!!
they're Rhode island reds...i just had some exactly like them in my latest flock... They looked orangey for awhile so i thought they were new hampshire reds, but their feathers started getting darker and darker, until now they're deep mahogany red with black on their tails, so pretty sure rhode...
