I have 8 chicks I hatched myself in my brooder. Three days ago we brought 6 bantam chicks home from RK. Everyone was doing fine until this morning. One bantam died overnight and two other chicks are showing signs of a respiratory infection. Can I give them Duramycin-10 in their water? If so...

I'm located in Central PA and looking for a few specific breeds...polish, blue cochin and either black or blue copper marans. I'm hoping to get chicks but if you only have hatching eggs, I could do that too. Thanks y'all!

We just bought a day old chick today (Black Maran) and it seems to have one toe that is folded under it's foot. It almost acts like it is hindering it from walking. I'm a new chicken mama and at a loss for what to do. Any ideas?

It wasn't until I came here that I realized I'm probably going to be the "crazy chicken lady". As soon as I see someone is selling chicks, I quickly see where they are from and if they are close to me. Like I NEED more right now.
