Chick with Foot Problem

We just bought a day old chick today (Black Maran) and it seems to have one toe that is folded under it's foot. It almost acts like it is hindering it from walking. I'm a new chicken mama and at a loss for what to do. Any ideas?

If you can physically straighten the toe yourself, you can go on google (or which ever search engine you prefer) and look up how to make chicken sandals/slippers to help straighten the toe. They're really simple and quite effective.

You also may want to treat it with vitamins in it's water, since vitamin deficiency can cause curled toes. Avian Super Pack and Rooster Booster are easy to find online or in farm stores. Or the easiest thing is to put a B complex tablet in their water every day.
