If its not the ducks eating them, its the "duck dirt" and the nitrogen killing them.

does anyone know if you can keep 2 male call ducks together with only 1 female? I'm worried they'll fight, or one of them will wander off the first chance they get! I've only ever had just one male.

For sure it does. We lost 3 others in the last batch, the were full grown embryos in the egg, but I guess they just didnt make the final stretch. I was worried this one would do the same.

Sunday we had an early hatcher...a day early. He broke through the egg within a couple of hours. He's healthy and strong and we're so excited, as this is the first time we've hatched eggs.
