    Thanks! That answers all my questions :) I kind of assumed you wouldn't want them in nest boxes, I just wasn't sure why they weren't roosting. But they are young, so they have time to figure it out. Thanks for your help!

    The flock is much more settled in, all doing well, healthy, friendly and funny to watch. Here are a couple shots of them more feathered out! This little orange chest is Robin, he's (assuming) pictured in the first on on the left of water bowl. Some have flat combs... nearly non existent...

    Oh, good. I'm glad they aren't slowly dying off. lol I hoped they were just enjoying the new area, and not dying. I knew it was probably silly to ask.. but I don't really know chicken behavior yet. Thanks :)

    Thanks! It's a bit big for them right now, but I hope they are nice and comfy as adults (mainly the hens we will keep). But it's nice I can keep all their food and bedding, rakes and shovels all in there for clean up. The coop is about 8x16 and the fenced area is 12x16. Thanks for the kind words:)
