I am downsizing my flock and will be selling all but a few of my birds.
This is a great opportunity for someone if they want to get into raising genetic hackle / flytie birds.
I will be selling all as one lot. $1,200 for all the birds listed below. ( I know that seams like a lot but I have...
I have to many birds and not enough room for them all so I am selling some of my birds.
I will be selling them at $100.00 each. Your pic, take 1 or all for $100.00 each.
I have 22 young ones. 3 months old. They hatched on 6/21/2014. Mostly grizzly color. As close as I can tell there are 9...
I personaly would give it another day to give them a chance. I have had some hatch up to 2 days late. Sometimes they will die in the shell just before hatching, I don't know why. My last batch that hatched had 3 eggs out of 40 eggs that died in the shell just before they hatched.
Good luck...
Very interesting thread. I learned a lot. I only have a few bushes that have been struggling to stay alive. Hopefully next year I will be able to revive them with all I have learned here. Thank you for all the info!
Here is a picture of mine from a few years ago. I have modified it a little since then but it works great. My 2 youngest watching the first eggs hatch.
We usually fish on the opposite side of the state by Ludington. Durring September the Salmon fishing is good and in October & November the Steelhead fishing is good. Hope your brother catches a lot!
I was afraid of that. That is the incubator that I was using when I lost my whole batch. It is up to you if you want to give them another day or so. A freind of mine has one like this and has decent luck with her hatches but she modified it somehow with extra fans and added extra water for...
Unfortunatly there are a lot of things that factor into a successful hatch. It may be the humidty was to low or possibly the heat was not queit high enough. I once lost a whole incubator full of eggs due to the humidity being to low.
What kind of incubator do you have?
Sorry to hear you are...

Here is a link to her recipe page on her website and she has a recipe for home made bread. Hope the link works.

Good luck!
I love to fish. I just don't have the time to do as much fishing that I would like to. I ussually make time though every fall to do some salmon fishing. We live in Michigan and fish the salmon that come in from the lakes every fall. Awesome fun!!
I agree with the above post. Make sure they have shade and water and room to move around. Some times though they die for no reason. I once had a hen and rooster in a large pen with all the food and shade and they were as healthy as can be and they died for no reason. Good luck.
