I have my quail in a rabbit hutch that I modified the roof. All I do is in the corners I have 3 bottles and in those bottles I put "Fishbone Fern". It is a great cover as it hangs down and it lasts forever with a scoop of dirt and water. There's a quail nest behind every hanging fern.
