Ok....so let's just say someone I know is moving to town..where no chickens are allowed.... and they want to keep 8 in town. They have at least 50'-70' between neighbors on 3 sides..... They are building a privacy fence first. But, they need ideas on how to keep city chickens....well...hidden...

I just ordered 20 easter eggers, 5 turkens, 14 frizzles, and 15 silkies from mcmurray.... My husband is asking how much (as adults) will each chicken eat? Our layer is $12 here, up to $14 for the most expensive per 50 lbs Just trying to get an idea :)

Recently took in a black rooster. He has missing toes and I don't know what's going on...he's been here a month, with 8 other roosters free range, I cleaned his feet with veteryin day 1 2 3 and 5. Until now, they haven't bled etc. No bulbs or rough patches, sometimes a little bloody from him...
