Thank you, Missbecky, for identifying our hen! She definitely fits that description! Now that she has feathers, I see how beautiful they are, with those gold streaks in the center!

She looks so much better now, I can't believe she's the same bird! She's almost 100% now and has no noticeable bald patches. She has earned the name Baldy, though, lol!

They are kind of creamy/ light brown, with dark brown speckles. Would that fit?

Funny enough, a couple of my other girls started molting within a couple days of her arrival!

Hi all, My Mom found a chicken in her yard,and we can't find owners for it. I think it's a young pullet, but, maybe it's a bantam? It's light as a feather and definitely underweight plus has lice (yes, it's quarantined and being treated). Any guesses as to what I have here? Thanks!
