AHappyChick,
We put ours together this weekend and it is so cute. Even the bus driver has mentioned how cute it is. Neighbors have come over, etc. One of the lady's from the 4-H club loves it too.
So if you decide to do this again, or would be kind and pass on the name of your distributor...

Okay here's what our vet did when I found the 3 3-4 week old kittens last Nov. They tested positive for cocci (imagine every species has it's own version), they had ear mites and round worms. She prescribed (and I don't know if there are NONprescription generics to these) Tresaderm...
My exp with cocci was I saw the blood in the poop, didn't know who did it. Had sulmet in the house began dosing that day. 2 days later while still treating I saw a couple of blood poops. Kept up the sulmet for the full 5 days. Gave yogurt/oatmeal as treat. Added dried milk into feed...
Good Job. I had almost same thing happen in Nov last year. We were going to only keep one, but now we have 3 indoor cats. Pro - they really take care of each other and even lick each other cause momma cat wasn't there to teach them the kitty basics. Con - cause no kitty basics made decision...
Can't wait to get this coop out of the box and start putting it together. Thanks AHappyChick for all that you've done.
Made it home and only got stuck on the GW Bridge for 20 or so mins, not too bad.

Seriously that was my first thought about a month ago. I mean as a chick she would do the fall forward thing but so did all the rest. I was so sure that she would go when I treated them for cocci but I didn't lose anyone.
I always make sure she gets the yogurt or whatever treat I...
Evening all. I am not sure if this is a breed thing but had to post to get some input.
I have a Polish Pullet, 17 weeks old, who falls asleep standing up all the time. Month ago I was concerned and kept thinking she was sick or some such thing.
Apparently this is her thing. I throw a...
Great to hear they made it. Can you measure the LXW of the boxes so I can make sure it's going to fit in the back of the truck. It's a flat lidded pickup so it'll have to fit in far enough to get the lid secured.
THanks..

Hey Neighbor - Literally!!!
I opened this and as I was reading I thought wow I know that little girl in the picture. LOL.
This place is great. I have learned so much from the posts and if you have a question folks are really knowledgable and helpful.
Welcome.
That's me waving across the...
Out of the 24 chickens we started with, I have managed to whittle the flock down to 15. Most of those were Roosters that had to go and a pullet that just couldn't get along.
The coop and run was only really built for 12 (yes I went overboard) so bought the cheap coop from AHappyChick and am...
In throw away recycled plastic containers I put a thin layer of cracked corn, quick oats and then fill to top with feed. Add water to make slushy and pop it in the freezer. Once frozen I dump them out of the plastic into the run and they love them. Plus I'm not filling them up with treats...
I read all 1018 pages and the thing that stood out to me was that most of it 'amended' some other already existing agency... ie. Medicare, -cade, SS Act etc. Why not fix what we have? Why reinvent the wheel and throw the good stuff already in place away? I'm curious what other people think on...
I'm so sorry to hear this. The thing that stuck out with me is why would the State of NY issue and permit if it could be negated by the town? I think it would be in the States best interest to check that out before approving one for you. I've no experience or knowledge of these permits but it...
I have a OEGB, she was TSC asst bantam. She's sweet but being beat up by the bigger standards. Can you post a pict of Red Pyle coloring cause I really don't know what she is.
This pict was taken on 6/30, she was hatched May 1.
$20 is okay are you sure that will be enough? Don't short yourself cause we may want you to do this again one day. LOL.
See you on the 23rd.
Thanks,
Tracy

I spoke to a Purina salesman not too long ago and he told me that the Purina in the grocery store for pets and Purina MILLS that makes the Sunfresh are different entities. Purina Mills makes all kinds of animal feed, they even have Llama food. They do make a premium dog food...
Add one more to the happy adoptee side of the discussion.
I was adopted as well and flipflopped all through my 20's over whether or not I wanted to locate my BM. In my 30's I contacted the agency I was adopted through in order to obtain a NON IDENTIFYING current health profile. Imagine my...
