Please help!!! Pullet just pooped out blood with clots in it!!!

Well I gave them their first dose even tho I haven't seen any more signs of cocci. Can't hurt I guess! Thank u so much for all ur help! I luv this site.

My exp with cocci was I saw the blood in the poop, didn't know who did it. Had sulmet in the house began dosing that day. 2 days later while still treating I saw a couple of blood poops. Kept up the sulmet for the full 5 days. Gave yogurt/oatmeal as treat. Added dried milk into feed, someone said it coats the intestines, helpful? don't know but am a worrier.

Bought Dolomite (sp) Lime at feed store, spread it around the run with a rake - supposed to cut down on cocci in soil, can't get rid of them but can stop a bloom. Changed out the coop shavings and put new in with DE and stall dry to make sure it was super dry, no cocci blooms in there.

And everyone lived. So keep it up it can't hurt and you may have the great outcome.

i have been giving the corid for a couple of days and still havent seen a second bloody poo. i will still keep going for probably 5 days. just incase it is cocci i wanna be doing my part! i plan on getting some stall dry and spreading it around too. thank you for your help!
