We are also trying to keep our roo population down to a minimum, which is a shame because our coolest looking birds are roos.
I thought this one came from a batch of 3 chicks at auction marked Golden Comets, but after seeing some pictures of EE, well now I don't have a clue.

When it was a chick it had a black streak on the top of his/her head like someone got him with a sharpie.

Stock photography is sold online to people who need photos for websites, brochures, etc.
So I decided to sell photos of the chickens until I can start selling their eggs.
And this is Fuzzball and we have no idea what breed she is.
We we taught the chickens how to roost at night and it only took two nights.
Now we don't have to partition off the pen.
There were 2 that were reluctant to go in on their own so "Fuzzball" took matters into her own hands and encouraged the 2 chickens to go into the coop. Can you guess who our...
I decided to let the goats into the coop to see if the chickens would follow. We'll see what happens.
I thinks the chickens just love the goats though. This morning when it was raining, the goats and all the chickens were laying on the "porch" of the goat house. Too stinkin' cute!
