Still new to this quail thing and have a question. I have look on some older threads and used the search bar with no luck. My question is do you separate their feed and grit or can you mix it in with the feed? Just wondering. Thanks in advance.
Question here my corturnix are 3 weeks old and the brown one is a female, but the white one I do t know yet. When will the Roos crow or at least try cause the white one is starting to make some noise really low but stretching its neck while making the noise. Help?
Great thank you for the info. I have two that will be 3 weeks old tomorrow, just noticed they have been fluffing the pine shavings around a lot this evening.
My wife thought it was one pipping but come to find out it was the shell the one came out of. Lol. It hatch about 8 this morning and looks pretty dry. What about my other eggs? Do I add more water to raise the humidity back up when I get that one out?
My first quail hatched this morning, how long do I need to leave in the incubator? Also another one has pipped and zipped but not all the way and no activity, with 13 more eggs in the incubator? At a lost on what to do.
