    My first hen laid her first egg Tuesday. Wednesday she didn't act interested in the nesting boxes. Yesterday she climbed in and out but no egg. The same again today ... in and out but no egg. Could she be egg bound? What should I do, if anything? TIA for any advice. Deb

    One of my Wyandotte pullets got her head stuck in a fence and tore her comb at the base where it attached to the top of her head. About 1/4" was detached. It bled a bit but not profusely and has clotted now. I cleaned and disinfected the area and have her in a separate pen. Is there anything...
