    Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

That's good, that you're normal, but I bet that's super frustrating too. That "nothing's wrong" but you're still not getting pregnant. It would be for me, anyways, because I'm frustrated and there IS something wrong with me.

    Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

Have you been checked for a tilted womb? I'm no doctor, but I know a lady and nothing was wrong with her numbers, but the dr doing her IUI didn't realize until her 2nd or 3rd round that she had a tilted womb. And that's the only reason why she wasn't conceiving with IUI. And it corrected after...

    Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

I'm not sure. Clomid itself I don't believe is expensive, but if they have to do more blood tests and ultrasounds that's where it starts to get expensive. We will see! Maybe we will be surprised and get pregnant before I go back.

    Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

I saw the doctor in August and September. I've always had problems with my cycle, but she always just wanted to put me on the pill. So now that we had been ttc for a year and a half she ran some tests, had a tv ultrasound, and I was dx with PCOS. So I'm supposed to go back soon to discuss...

Well I hope you conceive soon, Nayeli! I hope that we will both soon have healthy, beautiful babies. And it's so hard to be told to wait when it's a month after month disappointment.

    Coop Questions

Thanks for the tip! I have seen where a lot of people have mesh up top on flat roof coops, and I think we will do that. The humidity is always pretty high around here.

    Coop Questions

Thanks for the tip, but I would spend way more in gas to drive the 3 hours to Springfield for the paint lol. I bet I can get some pretty reasonable around here. Maybe I could stop by the store if we were already there though!

    Coop Questions

Our garden doesn't have a drainage problem (and it's leveled by a retaining wall) so I think the coop and run would drain pretty well. I am worried about water running through the coop though. And I hadn't thought of heat, and these AR summers get hot and humid... Yuck! Thanks for the suggestions!

    Coop Questions

Here is another question... Our entire property sits on a slope. I would like to build the chicken coop in the side yard, where the slope isn't quite as steep and there's more sun, but DH would like to build in the back, farther away from the neighbors. However, that's the steepest slope, and...

    Anyone else struggling with Infertility?

Does anyone else here have PCOS without insulin resistance? TTC for two years, I ovulate irregularly (cycle varies from 30-50 days) and I'm so tired of hearing "just relax" and all the other hurtful, stupid things people say.

    Thinking About Coop Design

If you're wanting egg producers and a broody hen, the barn sounds like a good idea. That way it would be possible to have your whole chicken operation under one roof, and won't e having to go back and forth between your adult chickens, your broody, and your juveniles. My dad has always had dirt...

    Coop Questions

I'm n I'm not sure if they are treated or not, but they are pretty straight. The caulk idea was something I hadn't thought of, and solves the draft problem I was thinking of. DH wants it to look nice, but not break the bank.

    Coop Questions

I finally convinced my DH to let me have chickens (I grew up on a 20-acre hobby farm). We have some spare lumber that we have from taking down a wooden porch/ramp that was on our house when we bought it. I was wondering if someone with more building expertise than I thinks that the 1"x6"x4'...

    Arkansas folks speak up.........

Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply is the store DH works for. They ship to a lot of different stores all over Arkansas, and if there is a store that carries Hirsch Feed but doesn't have what you are looking for, they may be able to get it shipped in for you. Hirsch bags their own feed.

I would also check around for local mom and pop stores. My husband works at a feed mill that sends different types of feed to stores all over MO, AR, TN and KY. If they don't have it at that store, Hirsch could probably get it for them.

    New to BYC!

Hey y'all! I'm new to the site, but I've been lurking for a while now lol. I finally convinced DH that chickens are a good thing, and we will be building our coop soon! I plan on getting either red star sex links or buff orpingtons. My family always had chickens and boer goats, so I'm excited to...

    Arkansas folks speak up.........

Hey y'all! I'm in Fulton County and right on the Missouri border. New to the site, but I've been around chickens my whole life (until I got married and moved out). I finally convinced DH to let me get some chickens of my own, and we will be building a coop soon! Can you say.....EXCITED?!?!
