I understand that my chickens should be eating between 1/4 cup and 1/3 cup of fee. When you ferment your feed it has water weight. How do you know how much to feed your chickens. I think I chicks are still hungry as they have started eating their eggs and I don't know what to do to fix this.

Thank you all so much, when do they get their adult voices, and how do you tell by the voice?
I know for sure one is a male, he is always chasing the ducks, chewing on my husband, and getting in my face, the other one not so much. Although when we let them out they both charge out with their...
We have to Chinese White Crested Geese, they will be 4 months old in 1 weeks. Is is possible to tell if they are male or female at this age? Thanks for taking the time to help. Rose
We ordered a straight run of hens and ended up with 2 maybe 3 Black Australorp Roosters. They are 4 1/2 months old we need to find a home for them. We are in Southern California in the High Desert between Palmdale and Victorville.
When they have been soaking for 2-3 days I pour them into a bucket with holes and rinse 3 times a day and they sprout in about 2 days. I don't use acv for fermenting just non chlorinated water it takes a bit longer to get started. I don't ferment the crumble only the scratch it is less expensive...
We started out with 2 Pekin and 2 Blue Swedish, but one of our Pekin didn't make it. They are now about 7 weeks old and I am wondering what sex they are. Can you tell by how fiesty they are. One of our ducks are very fiesty and 2 of them are quite calm. I think the calmer ones are the males. Is...
Hi, I am still waiting to find out if it is a hen or roo. If it is a roo I will need to find a home for him as I am not set up for 2 chicken coops and have all females. As I am new to chicken raising I didn't know when I bought the chick that it wasn't a hen. This chick is about 6-7 weeks old...
This chick is about 5-6 weeks old now. I originally wanted to find a home for the chick as the others were pecking at him/her. They have stopped pecking and the head is no longer red, so we decided we will keep the chick if it turns out to be a girl as we do not want him to be alone in a cage as...
I am considering raising turkeys and am curious what is the best beginner breed. I have heard turkeys can be tricky to raise and really want success. Thank you Rose
Thanks, I just wanted to make sure. I guess they sleep with the light on and it doesn't bother them. We have our brooder at 80 degrees. What's the coolest it should be in the brooder if you go down by 5 degrees per week
