    I noticed my first egg on the 28th of January. Mine were hatched on the 24th of May. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen but I have read that they were slow to mature. It has been a slow start, only 2 eggs so far.

    What would cause this type of stressed squawking in our hen?

    This was after I had given her a baby aspirin dissolved in water. The sneeze concerned me so got her meds. She is acting normal, but basically is completely hoarse. pecking around on the ground, drinking some. I am giving her oxytetracycline in case of respiratory and keeping her separated.
