Can anyone tell yet if I have an easter egger roo? He/she is very hard to get pics of, wont let me hold it, runs away, and the only one that just refuses to eat out of my hand. It is about 8 weeks old.

Hi! I have 14 chicks between 5 and 6 weeks old. They are outside and doing wonderful. I am interested in getting a couple ducks but have not a clue about raising a duck.

I was told this chick, who is about 5 & 1/2 weeks old, is a Rhode Island Red. After reading alot of the threads and breed questions on here about people who think they have a RIR but actually have a Production Red, Im starting to wonder about this one.
Well, I checked on her an hour ago and she was happily running around with the rest of the girls! Mustve just needed some extra rest from a long day of pecking the ground haha! I'll continue to keep an eye on her. Thanks for all the advice.
