easter egger roo?

Can anyone tell yet if I have an easter egger roo? He/she is very hard to get pics of, wont let me hold it, runs away, and the only one that just refuses to eat out of my hand. It is about 8 weeks old.

Thats what my daughter says too! She actually calls it "the eagle". Its changed so much in color since we bought it home.

Haha yes! I just want it to be a nicer chicken/falcon/eagle! Its not mean to the other chicks, just hasnt warmed up to us yet. :-(

I don't see anything screaming rooster, and given that small, single row of peas in the comb, I'd say you have a pullet. )

Yup, thats a pullet. EE's that color are almost always pullets.
