What are the chances that my young hens eggs (1st laying season) would be fertile right off the bat? We saved eggs for 7 days. Only have pips or chicks from day 6+. Was wondering about the first couple they laid.Thanks!!
We put blinders on our Pheasants at 6 weeks old. That's about the time they start be cannibalistic. The hens usually do ok, so we put them mainly on the roosters.

Have Ringnecks 5:1 ratio in 15x20 flight pens with 3x3 crates for each female giving 30% protein feed with oyster shell and I have ZERO eggs!! Temps are 75-80° day 40-50° night. Am I being impatient or is something missing? Thank you!!
