Easter egger was 20 weeks too.
the EE layes creamy brown color the SlW lays a red/brown color and the BR (if it is laying) lays a brown...
My first chicken layed an egg yesterday. I was wondering how often your chickens layed in the first week or two of egg laying. mine that is laying is a 19 week old SLW! thanks for any thoughts.
I have an EE that has a huge comb~even for a roo, that is almost flopping over. she has a beard and muffs, and even seems to have wattles (not big, not that small). isn't this not normal for an EE?

possibly all? JK they all look cockerels, but the first one looks to be the most developed of all of them, so he's probably crowing. don't worry, you'll probably find out soon enough which ones been crowing
when did your chickens start laying, what breed are they, and how many eggs do they lay a week, and what color are the eggs?
just curious. I've 6 16 week old chickens 1 polish, 1 EE, 1 GLW, 1 SLW, and 2 BRs and I was wondering how many eggs i'd be getting and how soon. thanks!
My chickens are 16 weeks old, so should be laying in several weeks. I let them out in the yard every day, and was thinking I'd have to keep them in the coop before they start laying, so they learn to use the nest boxes. how long after they start laying should I keep them in there, and when...
