    How long do eggs keep?

If they float in water, they're bad. They keep in the fridge for at least a month.

    Spots on my brown eggs.

I have an Orpington that lays brown eggs and occasionally she lays an egg with dark spots all over it. None of my other two lay eggs with spots. So, I'm curious why somedays they are perfect and sometimes they're spotty. Any thoughts?

    Questions about fertilized eggs

Or will the next egg be fertilized too? Lets say she is sitting on some eggs? One might not be fertile, if I don't get that...

How long do eggs last outside?

Hi, I am new to chickens. I live in Florida and it can get to 90° outside. How long would you say an egg can lay around in the coop, in shade, before it needs to be put in the fridge? Also, do they tend to lay them in the same place or will they drop one anyplace where ever they may be standing?
