    Goat unable to walk

When I checked them tonight they did feel a little warm bit she has been laying with them tucked up underneath her, so I'm not sure if the heat is from that or if they have an issue

    Goat unable to walk

I have an 8 year old female boer goat that has been down since 4/22. If I help her up she can walk 2 or 3 feet but then lays down. On Sunday she did get herself up a few times and walk on her own but she hasn't been able to since. She is eating, drinking, normal bms and urination. She seems...

Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

My first night with MHP was a success! We picked up 8 chicks last night and put them right in the cave. I checked on them couple times overnight and everybody was snuggled in the back. I admit I was very nervous, I live in upstate NY and it called for temps in the 30's but this morning I went...

    fertility question

I have a teacher friend who would like to take some of my duck eggs to incubate in her classroom. Is there anyway I can be sure they are fertile before incubating? I usually just let my girls sit and see what I get lol.
