I thought about sand but because of the coop doors I thought a lot of it would fall out so it wouldn't be very deep...I also thought about mixing sand and DE? If I could use boards to keep it in
So this is our tractor coop...looking for ideas for the floor...right now I change out pine shavings about once a week...I also use dried grass clippings it smells amazing...also what can I use to give it a good cleaning as far as poop on the walls...any and all input please...first time chicken...
Clean faced meaning no muffs? I have another that's gray with a brown chest very pretty birds pea comb? I think...first time chicken owner...very impatient for that first egg

My aunt works at a center for disabled adults...down syndrome...mostly I think...I gave them tons of "extra" veggies...meaning I was burnt out on putting up every thing...they were EXTREMELY EXCITED...about getting fresh veggies...definitely recommend it
Sounds like we have similar days in the garden...with all the rain here in KY I can't keep up with the weeding definitely going to check out how much mulching will cost next year...and my 2 toddlers may kill any chance I have of making pickles this year
