Hi there, it has been years since I've raised chickens, but I'm hoping to buy an incubator within the next month or so and get back into it. I used to have a top-hatch incubator but I had really bad luck with it, although I really liked the concept. I am looking at something with similar...
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good shows to visit or compete at around the country. I go to all the shows in Washington State and they are mostly decent size. I have been looking at some California shows which would be reasonable to travel to, the California Classic, Pacific...
Check out Yola.com, webs.com, or weebly.com
All three are free and easy to use. I would suggest yola out of the three for easiest and there is no ads, just a link to their site on the bottom
Am willing to trade for any other breeds as long as its good SQ lines. Mainly looking for wyandottes, plymouth rock bantams, orp bantams, and anything in my footer.
Black Rosecomb Bantam Pair -
Purchased from a breeder in Southern California, I had plans to show this lovely pair but never got around to it. The male has had some minor damage to his earlobes and can no longer be shown but would make an excellent breeder.

I would not give them bad feedback just because you didn't have a good hatch. You rarely get good hatches when you ship eggs across the country. Your best bet is to order some eggs from a local breeder thats in a close state to you or find a local breeder that you can drive to and pick up the eggs.
This year we will be phasing our our old name HiddenBrook Poultry as we start our new poultry business. Please give me any feedback on the logo we are making. I was going to have some evergreen trees added on the sides but they would have to go behind the chicken and makes it look to cluttered...
I think that many could be located with hard work but there are better breeders out there. It was just nice to be able to order decent sq birds from one source without having to go to a bunch of breeders to build your flock.
I'm going to publish my farms New website in the next few days with...
No! Vorwerks and Lakenvelders are two different breeds!
Lakenvelders come in Large Fowl and Bantam in Silver (and a Golden color was developed and not admitted to the SOP).
Vorwerks come only in Bantams here in the USA and are only Gold. Other countries have large fowl of them. One of the...
