I'm posting because when I posted these three unsure of sex you guys wanted an update when I could tell what they were.....all three cockerels!!! They were also sold to me as aracaunas and I still have no idea what they actually are.....
I have these three 10 week olds, they were sold to me as true Aracaunas but as this point I'm pretty certain they are not. Any thoughts on sex and breed? The first two pictures are the same chicken. Thanks!
Eleanor's comb
Scarlett's side and comb
Thanks so much for your help! I really am hoping Scarlett and Eleanor are both pullets.....I can't keep three roosters!!
This pic is when she was almost 4 weeks old.
The person I purchased them from assured me they were "true Aracaunas" I'm beginning to see that isn't the case so I have no idea what they are...
Where are you located? I am not seeing characteristics of true Araucana showing in these birds that would be expected if you are in the U.S.
The top bird appears to be a cockerel.
The second bird - leaning pullet, but iffy
The third bird - strong likely pullet

Hello all,
These three beauties are all true Aracaunas (says the woman i purchased them from). They were born March 18th which makes them 3 weeks and 5 days old. Anyone more experience than I care to take a guess at the sex of these babies?
