Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Welcome to BYC and the wonderful world of chickens!

I think you are right about the first one being a cockerel. The dark red on the wings looks very boyish along with the pink comb (although a close up would be helpful). On the second one, despite reddish wing markings, I'm leaning more toward pullet. Pale, flat looking comb and a rosy breast make it look more female. The red markings (more brownish) are very low on the wings an could be the beginnings of a more overall pattern that pullets can have. They are about 5 weeks? A lot can change in the next couple of weeks, so post again so we can see how it goes.

Right around 3.5 weeks any guesses on sex? they're six weeks and 2 days now , I'll upload new pics today as soon as I take them.

So here is an update on what my rooster is looking like now. He is growing up to be a beautiful red columbian.
His saddle feathers are getting longer every day.

With my EE girls. Their combs are just starting to pink up and develop at 11 weeks.
