Update. She was off them again, caring for the older ones. Do I moved her eggs under the other sitting hen. Today 4 chicks have hatched so far. Fuzz sat near them and clucked until one burrowed under her. So I separated her from the new ones. She just seems to love all chicks!

Well this morning she was in the sun with the chicks so I put her eggs under the other broody mama. It's amazing how some hens are just born to be mothers!

Just updating..I think another hen was eating the eggs and my broody hen was covered the next day, so upset, but she abandoned the nest, took a dust bath, and is now happy as can be. Oh well!

Thank you both for your replies and experience. She looks good physically. I take her off the nest every day & she does eat, drink, & scratch a bit each time. I will let her re recuperate then maybe try the eggs & separate her. Poor thing.
