    I have some pictures but they're not very clear. I'll take some better ones in the morning. Thanks for your response. We were told at a local feed store that this was the best antibiotic for chickens.

    We have a chicken 8 weeks old isolated with a sore foot that feels hot and is swollen on the ball of her foot. We were soaking it in Epson salts a few times a day. We started her on Corid 9.6% in her drinking water. 1/4 teaspoon in a quart of water.This is the second day and she is still limping...

    Thank you for the info! Maybe Blossom is a hen. Her crow sounded kind of hoarse but definitely different from her clucking. She is certainly happy and healthy acting!

    Thanks for your reply we have been looking at pictures and thought the same thing. Do you think the d'uccle is a rooster? We wanted all pullets but it's so cute and funny we're keeping it no matter what sex!

    They're 8 weeks old and the gold one does have feathers on her legs but not as long as the cream one. The cream colored one is the only chick with a red comb and he/she is very friendly and likes being held.

    We have 3 bantams and one is a black silkie but we're still trying to identify these 2. Sex and breed![/IMG]the little gold and black one in the pic by the coop
