Hi there. My in-laws gave us two chickens to add to our flock, they look like ours, so they are either black copper marans, olive or Americanas. However, one looks different than the rest and we are wondering if it's a roo or just diff. Breed. [/IMG]
Awesome news!! Thank you for this help. It is so nice to better understand my flock. They have changed so much since they were babies! Once they started growing we had to cut the marker bands off, so now we don't know which one is which breed, lol. We got them, day old on April 15. :)
This time on our chicken-go-round, we have started with day old chicks on April 15. So, they are 7 weeks old now. We started noticing two or three of our birds have this curved beak going on. Is this normal for a Olive egger/ameuricana/blackcopper? Is something wrong?
