You should see this little guy. I hatched mallards last year that flew away and he's so much smaller. i think he just hatched. But it doesn't even want water...... is this bad?

So long story short i found a baby mallard that is so small she/he fits in the middle of my palm. She/he isn't eating yet and is so small, I'm afraid its not eating because it just hatched or because its sick. it hasn't pooped at all, won't drink water. what should i do?

It was loud and i don't think it was raspy. Ive heard that Drakes are quiet but this was a very loud almost like a voice crack. like from its baby voice to its adult voice.

I hatched one of my ducks (pekin) and bought another (blue swedish). My ducks have been running away from me, biting me and worst of all i think they're scared of me. how do i discipline them? Thank you all, you have helped so much and thank you for the compliments on the house. we worked very hard on it!! It's made from fresh cut cedar from northern Minnesota. ill try insulation with plywood and a temporary dog house, we have an old one i can use. ill keep this "forum" updated!

yes -10 degrees Fahrenheit, sometimes colder. can i just insulate the walls? like put wood to cover the open spots and some of the pink insulation thats inside of some walls.

here it is and it gets to about -10 degrees on average, some winters are colder than others.

My duck house is very open, with a very little closed space for the ducks. In the winter do i insulate and cover up the open areas? I have a Pekin and a Swedish Blue.

So i bought "mallard" eggs online and only one hatched but it turned out to not be a mallard, it was a pekin. So my mom and i read that they can't be alone or they'll be depressed, we didn't want Boo to be depressed, so we went to a nearby farm and picked up a one week old Blue Swedish duckling...
