I have a female that has been laying for quite a while now and I saw her in the nesting box yesterday but no egg. Again today, saw her in the box but no egg. Went to pet her and noticed some clear liquid coming from her vent. She squats like she needs to lay an egg. Could she be egg bound?? What...
I believe my little love is a roo but would like others opinions before I send it to its new home. I can't have roosters so I was hoping for a hen. Thanks for the help.
I bought 5 of these little guys as chicks hoping for 1 female and ended up with 4. I love them to death but have no clue what kind they are. They arent very big, lay tiny brown eggs and have a small poof on their heads. Any ideas...?
The more I look at pictures and read what people say about male and female silkies, the more I am convinced I have a roo. Does anyone know if I am correct in that assumption? :/ I really was hoping it was a girl.
I have this beautiful silkie baby who is about 5 or 6 months old and I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl. I have heard multiple things. Any one else have any clue? I don't want to get rid of her/him if I don't have to.
I have these three beautiful babies and one started crowing this morning. :( Guessing at least one is a male and I have a pretty good idea who, I would just like some experienced people to give me feed back please. I know these aren't the best pictures. If I can get some one to catch them later...
I know its not a great picture but not too sure if it's still to young to tell but does anyone have an idea if this may be a boy or girl? Really want it to be a girl.
