We don't have any hens from the same breed, however he is pretty content with his harem of Rhode Island reds, Barred rocks and the French Black/copper maren we have.
If you search "Asian Blue on this site you will see alot more examples of the breed.

He looks just like my rooster that i was told was an asian blue. When I searched it this spring i was led to this site. Apparently TS had alot of these this spring. Here is a pick of mine. The kids have named hime paul rabil.

We only used the the big crate as a temporary coop when i finally brought the babies outside. During the day the were in the same run as the older one just separated by a portable dog pen/fencing. If you look closely at the run picture you can see the fence behind the door. That is now...

The purpose of the dog crate was to slowly introduce the smaller younger polish and the younger wyndotte to the rest of the flock that had a couple weeks on them. They are now in the same coop at night although the older hens and the rooster still intimidate the younger ones.

So im brand new in the backyard chicken world. Started this spring and got:
2 rhode island red hens
2 barred rock hens
1 french Black/copper maran hen
1 Asian Blue rooster
3 frizzled polish (dont know if they are hens or roosters yet, and
1 blue red laced wynndotte (dont know if its a rooster...
