    Hatching Time

    I hatched 3 in my incubator yesterday morning. I had anxious little ones in the egg.. it too a total of 3 hours for all to get out after they started in earnest. 2 had pipped the night before. Hatch time is sooo exciting and frustrating at the same time

    I LOVE living so close to where I am working. Me and the human baby got back to my house just in time to watch the last of the eggs hatch out. It is such a wonderful thing to watch them come out of those eggs. I think it is time to set a few more eggs LOL

    Peeps and pips on hatch day

    all threee I set hatched!!!!! They are all adorable and doing wonderful. I did get photos up on another thread hehe it is the one OHOTOS (was so excited I spelled it wrong) OF THE NEW BABIES 2 of them are going to have feathers on the feet like their momma does (momma is chocin and daddy is RIR)

    I have heard of people who have had to basically put their broodys in jail to break the broody cycle. They have a smaller pen they put the broody hen in and keep her away from the others for a few days.. they said it works like a charm for them to break up a broody hen

    CONGRATS!!!!!! I just hatched out 3 beautiful babies this morning. from the first one to pip it took about 3 hours. Now all are resting, peeping and getting all fluffy!!!! I cant wait to get them into the brooder where I can handle them!!!!

    as of right now all 3 of the eggs are pipped!!!!! all is quiet in there right now and I only saw a teeny bit of wiggling from one of the eggs. I have a feeling I will be walking back and forth from my neighbors house to mine with the baby to check on these new ones all day long HAHA

    2 of mine are pipped right now. One of them is doing some serious rocking in that egg so i am thinking one it gets a good angle on it there will be no time before it pops right on out!!!! I am impatiently waiting for this baby!!!!!!
