    Hi there. I always thought my paint silkie is a pullet but now I’m not so sure. I’ve never seen the one roo that I’m 100 percent sure is a roo mate. Can someone please help me identify gender. I’ll attach pic. I circled her/him in one of the pics. Thanks in advance

    Newly hatched chicks dying one by one

    I’m having same problem with newly hatched Cochin chicks :( very sad. 5 died I’m left with 8 . It’s really sad. I know how you feel and I’m sorry for your loss as well.

    Thank you so much. I’m a little disappointed :( I was hoping she’s a barnevelder but I think you’re right. She didn’t lay dark brown egg but her egg I’m sure will be fertilized. She’s my Roos favorite girl.
