I am currently just cleaning my dirty eggs with water. Is there and cleaners that would be better to use or is water safe enough? I live in the delta and it is hard to keep the eggs clean in the winter with all the rain and mud. I am also having a problem with three hens roosting in the...
I was wondering if DE is all that is needed for worm control in laying hens. I have a liquid wormer that can be mixed in the drinking water but then you can not keep the eggs for a few weeks after deworming. So I really dont want to use the liquid. I am currently just adding DE to the feed...

Something killed one of my neighbors turkeys last night. What ever it was made it over a 4 foot horse fence (2"X4" pattern). He thinks it was a coyote. Can a coyote jump over a 4 foot fence? We have Alot of Coyotes around here but they have not messed with anything but watermelons until now...
Nebbo, That is kinda like the problem I have. I noticed that I have one loud hen that was doing most of the chasing, so I put her in a cage of her own for a few days and then everyone got along fine. The new NHR's are still a little scared but they are not being chased now. This afternoon I...
