    Thank you for the response! Update: It seems that it went back in (up) all by itself within 15 minutes after she dropped a yolk only (no shell)on the lawn. She been playing, eating and drinking with the other chickens all day. We will keep a close eye on her (she's one of the favorites!)...

    Coop almost done...first photos and a few ?'s

    we have the same design for ventilation but i installed a drop down board on hinges to prevent the draft on cool winter nights. in the summer the board is hung up allowing for good air movement by a snap hook.
