    i have had chicken guard extreme for three years and would not have a chicken on the farm without one. i use an ols allumium road sign and it works great.

    I bought a chicken guard that said batteries would last about ten months. New batteries every 4 weeks. It works good enough, until batteries are low, then you replace and re calabrait.     too cold to start now?

    I hope not , just got chicks a week ago. Inside my coop with an ohio brooder. I think the fall weather will be ok and they should be feathered out when really cold weather gets here. They are chicks, so just take care of them as you would in may or june.
