lol Thankfully they moved away a few months ago. They promised to replace the 9 chickens their dogs killed for months. Then just moved away one day without a word. As annoying as it was I'm just glad their dogs are far far away from my birds.
I've hardly been getting eggs for about a week now. 4 in the past 7 days. I've had no idea what was going on. I have 14 hens and 1 rooster. So not getting eggs seemed a little more than odd. I found this little guy hiding under the feeder this afternoon when I went to check for eggs. Only it's...

I hadn't thought of that, my ducks and banty roo came from a feed store. I bought my light brahmas from a local women who only breeds and raises light brahmas. Definitely not hatchery chicks, they were the healthiest chicks I've ever raised. I've contacted her and she wants $25 each for...

I have an EE hen and with green legs, and they are not the same color as the chicks. I looked up pictures of the blue andalusian chicks and they do look very similar.
They are around 3-4 weeks old. Bought them from the mystery pullet bin at the feed store. They are friendly little guys.
My husband brought this chicken home. He can't remember what the lady said it was. He sure she didn't say Rhode Island Red, but that's about it. Also it's supposed to be...
Thanks for the bump. Didn't think to say this in the first post. I went and looked at the chicken today, and there were no bugs on them. Just went and pulled him out of the tree again to lock him up with the other chickens and the bugs are on him again. I guess they only feed on them at night???
This is my first post here, so hi to everyone who is nice enough to help me and my poor chickens out.
Last night I looked out the window and saw my silly bantam rooster perched in a tree with his younger buddy. If he wasn't bright white I wouldn't of seen him. I go outside with my flashlight...
