well i have save $100's building this instead of buying a prebuilt incubator. what i did is instead of dropping big bucks all at once. i bought the parts every month for acouple of months. then i went thrift store to find a cabinet. i spent $15 dollars on the cabinet and $20 on the insulation...
so update time 11 eggs hatched out of 14!!! i guess you could say that the COOLER BATOR is a hit! it does work well! the sky is the limit now!! starting a new batch tonight!
rural king had this deal buy up to 10 chicks and get a rebate for the total price paid! they had about 10 or so different breeds i pick 5 buff bramhas and 5 golden laced wyandottes!! i didnt need anymore chickens, i already have over 50 , but i thought what the heck they are free!! anyways...

need some help trying to figure out what kind of chick this is?she was born all white with a few blue/black spots on top of her head. and almost a month later she is almost double the size of my other chicks. thanks
here is that all white chick. almost 4 weeks later, she is much larger than my other chicks. she is standing next two a buff orpington and is the same age. any help would be great!? i have alot of ideas what she might be but need some help! also she has a few blue/back feathers coming in by her leg.
my new coleman cooler bator! i started with a light bulb and a hotwater thermostat but then i found a nice use incukit dc all in one fan,heater,thermostat for $29 on ebay. seems to be holding temps good. i just have to wait on the egg turner.
